Cross Fader Curves

Change the mixer cross-fader curve on DJ Mixer 7.0 for iPad by choosing one of the four available curves. Tap the cross-fader button on the bottom-right-side of the main mixer screen on your iPad, and choose the curve type that best matches your mixing style:

Transition

Also known as a “no dip” crossfade, the transition crossfade gradually fades a channel in to full volume at the center of the crossfader before fading out the other channel. This is a good general purpose crossfade shape for DJing, and is the default cross-fader curve in DJ Mixer

Fast Cut

Fast cut quickly fades in a channel to full volume with a very short movement of the fader. This is the preferred crossfade shape for scratching, and is suitable for hip-hop mixing.

Smooth

A curved volume shape that fades a channel in over the entire length of the crossfader.
This curve provides constant audio power output with the other channel that is fading out, which is useful for fading between two unrelated music types.

Constant Gain

A straight line fade in and fade out over the entire length of the crossfader. The fade in and fade out have a constant gain sum, which is useful for crossfading between tightly beatmatched songs.

mp3 Importing issue in iOS 5

Importing of MP3 files into DJ Mixer and our other mixing Apps doesn’t work in the newly release iOS 5.1 due to an iOS 5.1 bug. We have implemented a work-around fix that is going to be offered as a free update.

The new update is pending approval by Apple that will address this issue so please stay patient and keep your eyes out for the update. We are doing the best we can as fast as we can.
