We are happy to announce today that the all new DJ Mixer Pro 3.8 is now live App Store with many bug fixes and several small but cool improvements. We are going to start sharing DJ Mixer change logs so you can see exactly what changed from the previous version. DJ Mixer Pro 3.8 is a free update to all current DJ Mixer Pro users and includes updates for iPad, iPad 2, iPhone and iPod Touch. Thanks for your continued support, feature requests, and feedback. More DJ Mixer announcements are coming from us very soon, stay tuned and keep it rocking!

New mixing interface improvements – loops and tempo+pitch are now appear in an all new deck panel and not in a popover. Expect exciting new features in the all new deck panel very, very soon
First-time user experience improvements: prompt to download 2nd track when 1st download is done. Prompt to go to the mixer when 2nd download is done
Tap on turntable in the start screen for quick access the mixer screen
Tap on a track display area (blue shaded area) of a deck to display the music library for new track selection. This enables quick track loading to a mixer deck
Enhanced decks volume knob – It is now easier to control Deck A and Deck B volume
Double-tap on Deck volume knob to reset it to the default volume
Better low memory conditions handling

DJ Mixer September Update

We’d like to thank all you DJs out there for keep downloading DJ Mixer Pro in large numbers every day. We’d like to assure you that we are working hard on the following things to make DJ Mixer Pro better and more stable for live performance:

1. We have been fixing all known crashing bugs and dealing with low-memory issues. Again, we’d like to emphasize our recommendation to exit ALL background Apps before mixing with DJ Mixer. Some background Apps are not really dormant and will use-up precious system memory resources.

2. We are preparing a major DJ Mixer for iOS 5 that will include new amazing audio mixing features that will be provided for FREE for all existing and new DJ Mixer for iPad users. We will have more to announce once Apple ships iOS 5.

3. We keep adding great free songs to DJ Mixer. Keep checking for downloads in the main menu to download free mixable songs from our partner record labels and artists. More great free songs are being prepared for DJ Mixer for iOS 5 update.

Thanks for keep using DJ Mixer! Rest assure we work on it around the clock 24×7 to make it the best way to mix your music on your mobile device. We have been working hard on fixing bugs, memory issues and adding new FREE features that you can all enjoy very soon…
DJ Mixer 3.7 does not yet support iOS 5 beta. iOS 5 has not shipped yet and we are actually planning interesting surprise features for you for the iOS 5 fall release. The reviews that complain about startup crashes use iOS 5. We have verified this. Regardless, we are about to release an update to DJ Mixer, 3.7.1 that will work on iOS 5 beta. It is currently pending Apple review
We have been updating the UI of DJ Mixer for the iPad in the latest version and have improved the scratching audio – please update to the latest version – 3.7.

Getting the most out of DJ Mixer Pro

Exit all other Apps before starting DJ Mixer. DJ Mixer requires your full mobile device capabilities and some Apps take system resources even when running in the background. This is our #1 support issue. If you follow this tip you won’t have playback issues with DJ Mixer.
Import or download songs before you start mixing. Have all the songs ready before you mix to avoid playback issues. When you mix, have fun and focus on your performance!
Record and share your mixes. Don’t miss this small record button at the bottom of the mixer interface. You can now record your mixes in high-fidelity quality and copy over the recordings to your computer using iTunes. Just tap the record button to start recording and tap it again to end the recording.
