why does it take some much space once I downloaded to my ipod.?
Because music files are stored as uncompressed linear PCM files. The iPhone CPU is not powerful enough yet to decompress 2 (or 3) mp3/m4a files, time stretch them, update the display and mix them all in real time yet…
Please update to the latest version. We now play native MP3 and M4A files and do not store large wave files anymore

You need to edit the BPM to make sure it is correct and beat match will work nicely for you! Touch the BPM number in the playlist and edit it. We do our best to get the BPM right but sometimes it is off…
it wont let me download songs from my computer or on my phone i wasted my money !!

Update to the latest version – DJ Mixer 3
So I got the new software update for my 3GS running OS4 and I appreciate all the work you have done! Its nice to see some of the changes I asked for implemented even if you missed a couple huge ones like moving the buttons that add the current song to the other channel ( 1 and 2) away from the skip buttons so that i’m not always hitting the wrong thing and train wrecking my mix when trying to cue up a new track. I also like that the Advanced switch is back on the unAdvanced screen, but the whole point of that was to stop the automatic screen switching when tilting the device on its side. Can this be an option in settings?
The only real problem so far are is that my entire library of music doesn’t show up anymore? I guess the new install blasted it, but what I don’t understand is why I haven’t got the memory freed up from the removal of all those songs? I don’t really mind that the update hosed my library if it was necessary because of the update, but where’s all my memory gone!?

Sorry, there is no way to import a whole playlist yet. The only limit on the # of songs you can have in a DJ Mixer playlist is the amount of free storage space on your iDevice.
So I was using the new recording feature and accidently let something record for 13 hrs and it ate up all my memory. I found the file in itunes, but how do i delete it from my 3GS, because i need some storage space back…

Opps, in iTunes, select the recorded files under shared file and press the delete key on your keyboard to delete it from your device!
How do i listen to a mix i made?
Transfer the mix to your computer using iTunes, add it to your music lib and compress it as AAC/M4A in iTunes. Add the compressed file to your device music files and import it on your iDevice into DJ Mixer. We understand this is a bit of a pain and we are working on an easier solution with fewer steps to get this done. Thanks for using DJ Mixer!

I noticed on the free music downloads you guys provide, there are these grey bars for Better Beat matching. When I upload my songs from the library however the grey bars no longer appear. This make it much more difficult for me adjust the beats. Is there any way to make this work?

You are correct, we do not have our beat analysis features in the DJ Mixer client, just on our servers. We are planning to add full beats and bars analysis to future versions of DJ Mixer so please be patient with us. We glad you like DJ Mixer – thanks for your feedback !

From your description, you are using an old, unsupported version that you may have got not through the App Store. Please get the latest version of DJ Mixer from the App Store – you will be able to mix tracks from your iPod music lib without using the djmixer website!

Hi, I’d like to buy the Alesis IoDock cuz I’ve read that your app is supported. My question is the following.. Is it possible to use it like a normal consolle? I mean is possible to listen the cue from the headphone plug? Today I tried the IoDock in a shop in Soho and that wasn’t possible.. Is because I don’t have the “mix with headphone” upgrade? Thanks

I had the iPhone 4 and got the DJ pro to mix some musics in my party!! I had the extra effects pack!! I got the new iPhone 4s now, I backup my info, but my pro effects show empty!! When I play the jet nothing happend!! I delete the app reinstall and now nothing show!! I did the restore features and nothing!! HELLLPPP!!

I downloaded this from the app store, it looks like I have “mix your own music” has been unlocked. But when I try to add music from my iPad the app closes, other words I am not able to add tracks from my iPad library! Is there something I am missing? Or some additional steps I need to take? it does not matter if I close all apps down and just start dj mixer stops the music all the time and there are a lot of noise on the program. I have read that there are many who have the problem as there are errors in the program. in to do an update on the program. it’s really good program if it then works.

It crash All the time after two minutes and there is a lot of noise, also if you closing All the other down the idea is good but this is a very very bad app. Djay is much better and it works
When you play on both deck Sometimes there is af lot of noise and the music stops and stops. Then it plays for a halv menute and stops. Why??

I added about 80 Tracks. Now i try to add / change cover arts but i can’t. They are just white (no pic / Cover) and the “loading” Circle is standing still….

I love the dj mixer pro app; however, when I restored my iPad through iTunes for a freezing issue I am no longer able to play a samples mix pack I purchased for the dj mixer pro app. I have already tried the restore paid features option in the settings of the dj app. I can only play the free samples not the new pack. I used this application on my disco at the weekend, most of the time it works fantastically. However I have some iTunes tracks that crash this app every time I attempt to load them. They play ok on other music players but not DJ Mixer – any ideas?

I think theres a bug with this app. In times, when i try to open my other apps, for skype, facebook, ANY game apps, but nothing happens. My screen would blink once and does nothing. However the application is opened as it shows on the list of current opened applications. Tried restarting Iphone, but same thing. Then i tried removing and installing back my recent downloaded apps, when i got to DJ Mixer Pro, after re-installing it again, all my apps worked again. Other apps i tried deleting and re-installing are skype, the dice, dino cap 2, but nothing happens. This app may be great for others, but has been a nightmare for me. Any ideas on how to complete remove it from my iphone 4s? I have tried to removing from my home screen by holding down the app and click on the X icon, and also removing it in General settings/usage and delete app.
When i search for the app it still says its installed.
